Texas Bowl 2006-Half Time Report

Half Time Score: Rutgers-17 Kansas State-10

Rutgers, after a string start in the game, slowed up a bit and didn't execute as well as they did in the first quarter.

Kansas State, however needs to focus more on their game plan, reduce the number of missed tackles on defense, and be more consistent off the line.

Neither team as had a run-a-way performance, but I give the edge to the Scarlet Knights in the first half.

They capitalized on the Wildcats mistakes and put the points on the board when they had the chance.

If Kansas State is to have any chance of winning the Texas Bowl, they had better get focused and execute their game plan better.

If not, it will be a LONG plane ride back to Manhattan, Kansas.
